ISGA

We want to build a strong social and professional network of Iranian students, scholars and graduates in Unites States which will enable us to bring them all together, in order to facilitate service for their professional growth, and contributing to the society, by exchanging ideas, opinions, knowledge and experiences.

ISGA connects the Iranian student body currently residing in the Unites States to address the issues and challenges that Iranian students are faced here in the States on a daily basis. ISGA is also a continuation of the efforts made by MEVISA by the same body members in 2010 which raised awareness of the difficulties students of Iranian citizenship are facing in getting U.S. visa. As a result, the visa policy has been modified for F, J, and M categories effective May 20, 2011. Read more about this, here.

While the new policy has alleviated the challenges that Iranian students have been experiencing, but still a large number of students did not benefit from the policy change (Read more here). For this purpose, ISGA has conducted a complete survey to collect information about the newly implemented multiple-entry visa policy for Iranian students and scholars. The full report for the survey is provided here. Also a letter is written for the department of state to present the visa issues of Iranian students and scholars (Read the letter here)

We look forward to achieving greater goals with your help and support. You can join us to help by filling this form.
